Afghanistan 101

This book explains how and why Afghan culture is so different than Western cultures, particularly American culture. It explains why Afghan people think and behave the way they do, and discusses how they prioritize their loyalty to people, groups, and ideas. It describes how Afghan people deal with social power, wealth, personal authority, age, and gender issues. It provides a description of different ethnic groups living in Afghanistan and provides tips on how Westerners can work effectively with them.
