Ultimate Weapon is No Weapon: Human Security and the New Rules of War and Peace

The 21st century world has already experienced significant upheaval due to unemployment, environmental degradation and social tension. The authors show that high tech weapons and vast military might is not enough to maintain order because they provide an opportunity for warlords, militias, pirates and similar operations to expand. This book suggests a thorough overhaul of military priorities and tactics, and the strengthening of NGOs, charities and others to increase security in this century.
